Seeun Jeong (1971) is assistant professor of economics at Chungnam National University. She graduated from Seoul National University and obtained her PhD in economics from University Paris-Nord in France in 2003.
She is interested in global imbalances, exchange rate policy and economic integration. Her recent publications include “Real Capital Market Integration in East Asia and Implications for the Expansion of Investment” (The Journal of the Korean Economy, in Korean, co-authored with Yonghyup Oh, 2006); “Global Imbalances and East Asian Countries’ Exchange Rate Policies” (The Review of Social and Economic Studies, in Korean, 2006); and “Exchange Rate Regime and Equilibrium Exchange Rate of Three Big Asian Countries” (Revue Economique, 2003, co-authored with Jacques Mazier).
